is one of my favourite villageson the island of Tinos. It lies about ten kilometers northeast of Tinos city.
The village consists of white houses and narrow stone alleys where various arch devils can be seen.
On the big village square stands the imposing church of the Ascension of Christ built in the 17th century.
A walk through the village is a real must.
In the village there is a church museum where old icons and books can be seen.
There is also an agricultural museum where traditional kitchen utensils and tools are exhibited.
From the village, which is near the monastery of Agia Pelagia, you have a fantastic view of the Aegean sea.
